Perfect for water activities June 25, 2010 DJ I love it!! I do water excercies in the pool everyday and usually I am alone. Therefore, I get a little bored. So I decided that if I listen to a book, the time will go faster and I'll enjoy my excercises a lot more. The first waterproof audio players I ordered did not work. None of the audio book sites would recognize the players. Then I saw this one, ordered it (for a lot less money!) and it works so well. I can use my regular MP3 player and now I'm a very happy water excerciser! What others said is true; it's a little difficult to maneuver the player in and out, but it's worth the small effort. I've even considered buying an extra one, in case something happens to this one.
earbuds dont stay in while swimming June 1, 2010 pink (Texas) The waterproof pouch works great. The earphones work too, but they don't stay in while swimming. Maybe it is just MY ear shape...
Really good product April 25, 2010 Pam Smith (Georgetown, TX USA) I love this thing!!! This is my second one. I swim laps and I would go crazy without being able to listen to my tunes. I trust this thing enough to swim with my Iphone in it. It is is a little small for the iphone, but it does work. I bought an ipod shuffle because it was cheap on ebay and now that is what I use, just becuase I dont want to take a chance with my 300$ iphone. Anyway, it works great. The earphones are comfortable to swim with. Occasionally the earphone cords get trapped under my armpits and they come out of my ears but otherwise no problems.
Flooded 3 iPods - bought 2 of these April 13, 2010 MysteryGirl (Eastern US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've bought this item twice - it tears easily on the sides which compromises the effectiveness of the product. I should have learned my lesson the first time but decided to give it another try. I've ruined 3 older iPods - the last generation before the Touch, a Nano and now a shuffle clip. I think I'd get better waterproofing from a ZipLoc bag. The heavy plastic/vinyl seems sturdy enough and it does have 3 sets of "zip locks" and a fold-over velcro flap to keep the unit closed. The only thing that the makers didn't figure was that the sides split far too easily. Oh well... live and learn.
Handy little sucker! March 30, 2010 Green Eric (Santa Fe, NM, USA) For my last i-pod I used a rigid style water protector, but decided to give this one a try for my Nano. I like this one just as much as the more expensive and bulky rigid protector. I did not find that I had any trouble with it at all, though if I had bigger or shorter fingers I could see how it might be hard to use. I felt perfectly secure with it in this high tech baggie!
