Not one single time did even a drop of water get inside. It has 3 different seals.
The only thing you have to watch out for is making sure the lens is pushed up against the plastic lens hole, if not you can get a black ring around the photo.
I have just a standard size digital samsung camera and it had more than enough room i could even fit in extra batteries and a room key!
I would recommend this to everyone! Also you can go on dicapac website they have a list of all cameras made and which size is best!

This product is highly recommended to anyone wanting to take some underwater pictures but doesn't want to spend the hundreds on the companies' hard cases. I recently went on a trip to Hawaii with snorkeling planned. I wanted to be able to take underwater pics and this case did just that. It was easy to use and kept my camera dry. I was skeptical if it would work but in the end it was perfectly dry. As other reviews point out, the plastic case and the fact that you are underwater make the viewing area of your digital almost impossible to see. Also the settings are hard to change once in the case. As another had suggested, set your camera, then insert into case so its ready to use. Sometimes, the zoom would hit the plastic and the camera would say error. Just turn off and on again holding the plastic away from the zoom as it comes out. I got some great pictures and saved alot of money on a different case or buying a camera from the snorkeling company. Make sure to go to the companies website to see which model case fits your camera.

I decided to buy an underwater camera case before I went on my honeymoon to Jamaica. I did the recommended testing putting a tissue in the case and everything stayed dry. I was still a little nervous using it the first time though. I first tried it on a snorkeling trip and as far as keeping my camera dry, it worked great. I did have a few problems with the actual camera though. I have a Panasonic Lumix and the case seemed to be the right size for that camera. However, sometimes the camera would have a problem opening because the lens would come out and hit the plastic pouch and then automatically close because it hit something. So I needed to make sure when I opened the camera, there was room for the lens to extend. And like other reviews, there were pictures that had black around the edges. But cropping pictures after the fact took care of that. Overall it worked well and I think it's a great price to be able to take digital pictures in the water.
Worked Perfect for our Cruise June 10, 2010

After reviewing many different options to use for our snorkeling adventures on our cruise, I decided to go with this. It was affordable and was well constructed. I was expecting a flimsy bag, but this case is pretty heavy duty. Follow the instructions for testing it before you put your camera in. Remember to test it every time before using with your camera as you never know if you accidentally might have damaged it in transit or over time.
Make sure you get the right size for your type of camera as well. We have a Canon SD1100IS and this size case worked perfect. Occasionally you might have a picture with a black ring on the sides. You just need to adjust how you are holding it in the case. Very easy to fix since you can see your pictures right away. Overall, I am very pleased with the results and we have pictures AND video we could never have gotten with a standard disposable waterproof camera.

This item is like a transparent dry bag with a clear filter. My small digital camera fits in it just fine, and all the controls are accessible, as the bag isn't completely snug. I haven't tried the zoom extension it includes, because my camera (Nikon Coolpix S570) zoom fits comfortably. I use my camera on the water in my kayak, and it is far easier to have the camera hanging from my neck in the DicPac than keeping it in a hard case and having to fumble to remove the camera from the case (while I'm wearing paddling gloves), etc. The pictures seem the same as those taken without the bag. As far as I'm concerned, this is a very inexpensive way to protect my camera from the water but still be able to use it without impediments.
