We actually purchased this container as a geocaching container and so it is out in the elements 24/7. It has been through crazy storms, downpours, etc and it has stayed perfectly dry. No leaks at all. It is also tough and no animal has been able to crack it. The only downside is the container is very tough to close and I'm worried that eventually the force necessary to close this container is going to eventually break the 2 close hinges off.

I seriously love this case. I have used it snorkeling, cave tubing, sailing, and swimming and have no doubt that it will keep everything dry. I put my phone in it without even thinking twice. Great waterproof case.
