Bought this case for my son's 3G iTouch that had to be replaced after a rollerblading and gravity lesson. I was a little worried about it at the time of purchase since nowhere did it say that it would fit the newer model but since there is no physical difference, it fit perfectly. It came with a screen protector but we will be replacing it soon due to it gets a sticky film on it when it is used much, maybe due to heat. Otherwise it is everything I hope it would be. He has had a few more lessons with gravity since but the case did it's job perfectly.

I did some research and realized the otter box was one of the better brands. I purchase this for my husband and he loves it. It is safe, he work in the field so there is always something that breaks is devices, such as the lever on the forklift, he was on a ladder and the devise just fell to ground, he has broken them all. It has been almost a month and the IPod touch is still alive. This case is the helper I have been waiting for to assist in securing his electronic stuff.

This case works excellent for my 3rd generation iPod Touch. The level of protection it affords such a high-priced toy is unparalleled by other cases on the market. I haven't had any issues with the "bubbling" under the screen as others have; it has worked flawlessly out of the box. The only issue that may affect some users is that due to the size the case adds, it may be difficult to dock the iPod with other aftermarket accessories, namely iPod stereos. I especially like that this case has silicon "plugs" which cover the earphone and docking ports. I was always surprised to find that most cases don't protect the docking port, which I presume would be sensitive to dirt or other contaminants. For the price, you can't beat this case for the protection it gives. Buy now! (BTW, Otterbox has resumed production of this case, so don't pay more than you should to some companies that would like to gouge you).

A friend of mine had one of these cases for his Ipod Touch and from the moment I seen it I had to have one. Delicate electronics and I do not get along and at todays prices I can't afford to replace a $300 Ipod because it fell or got a drop of water on it so it only makes sense to protect the investment! Can't beat the price for one thing, but aside from that it was so easy to install and it really is a sturdy well made, well fitted case! It has a thicker screen protector built right into it and you would think that it would affect the sensitivity on the touch screen, but it like it isn't even there...works perfectly! My only problem with this case is that when I use the on-screen keyboard, the letters near the edge of the screen are difficult to get to because my fingers are a bit large, but that is definatly not a show stopper by any means. I read some reviews on these and I came across a few that stated thier FM Transmitter would not fit because of the case...well I am here to say that I have tried 4 different types and every one of them fit with no problem what so ever so please don't let that discourage you from buying this case. Yes it does make your Ipod bulky, but it will be safe and sound and it looks cool too! (Wish they had different colors though) If you use your Ipod in an armband or whatever you will have to remove your Ipod from the Otter Box, but it's so easy to take off and put on! All-In-All I am 100% satisfied, hope this review helps!

I have had this case for a year or so, it has held up to daily hard use around construction sites really well. I use my Touch as a PDA, and I had a hard time finding a belt case for it, I ended up with a NiteIze case that works great. The Otterbox does add some big size to the Ipod, but it makes it indestructible. I bought a Shield screen protector when I bought the Ipod and immediately removed the attached screen protector after reading tons of reviews on the Otterbox screen issues. It works great, the screen is really well protected and is really clear, and it makes for an easy transition when you want to take the Otterbox off to put in a arm band or your pocket. I wish they had kept making this product and selling the belt clips like the ones for Iphones. Overall great product if you want the ultimate protection for your Touch.
