Perfect case for easy use underwater camera July 23, 2010 ShaneS Went to 100 plus depths with no problems. Easy to use and unobtrusive to other divers. Good starter camera setup. Dont forget to tighted the wrist strap as it is positively bouyant, some may prefet to weight case for neutral bouyancy.
great for diving and is a cool gadget to protect your canon March 12, 2010 Misshell (Puerto Rico) Protects my camera from humidity and sand when I'm at the beach and is a cool thing to have when going scuba diving. Works great underwater and pictures and videos come out great!
Easy to Use March 6, 2010 John Crosby (Honolulu HI) I have had this type of housing before and have had no issues with it before excellent pictures underwater. Just be careful when closing housing with the diffuser attached. The string tends to get twisted into the housing and has caused flooding. I reccomend removing diffuser.
Great Unitl I Hit the Case Against a Rock February 11, 2010 Beaner (North Jersey) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this case on my camera when I went to Hawaii this last summer. I purchased it for the intention of going scuba diving, but that didn't pan out. I took it snorkeling a couple of times and it worked like a charm. I took some really wonderful pictures and movies and it was fantastic. It takes some getting used to because it is pretty large compared to the actually camera. PLEASE BE CAREFUL though, my Fiance wanted to go snorkeling with the turtles in Oahu so we went out into the water and the visibility in the water wasn't very good and there were rocks in the water. I accidentally bumped into a rock and this cause the seal to loosen allowing water to get into the case. I noticed this when I held up the camera and there was condensation inside. It was my error that caused the leak and ultimately broke the camera so just be careful when you are snorkeling/scuba diving/rough housing.
does all its supposed to October 24, 2009 Robert S. Damus (alameda, ca) all functions for the camera are brought out through easy to use mechanical knobs and buttons. my sd1100 fits snugly and takes great pics when inside the housing. the housing is easy to open and close and is durable - i've dropped it a couple of times.
